Class Descriptions

 

WATER ORIENTATION / ADJUSTMENT

Introduce your child to the aquatic environment through games, songs and aquatic activities in order to enhance physical, cognitive and social development

 

Parent-Child (6-23 months) 

Mon/Wed: 5:40pm

Sat: 9:30 am

 

Perch + Pikes (2-3 years)

Mon/Wed: 5:40 pm

Sat: 9:30 am

 

PROGRESSIVE SWIM LESSONS

Progressive lessons are designed to take your child from beginner to advanced level swimming.  Personal Safety, Personal Growth, Stroke Development, Water Sports & Games and Rescue skills are included at all levels.

 

PRESCHOOL (3-5 years)

 

Levels: (Beginner) Pike, Eel/(Intermediate) Ray, Starfish

Mon/Wed: 4:10 and 6:15 pm

Tue/Thur: 1:00, 5:00 and 5:45 pm

Sat: 10:15 am

 

YOUTH (6-15 years)

 

Levels: (Beginner) Polliwog, Guppy/(Intermediate) Minnow, Fish, Flying Fish

Mon/Wed: 4:50 & 5:40 pm

Tue/Thur: 5:00 & 5:50 pm

Sat: 10:05 am

 

Classes for Advanced Swimmers

 

Pre-School: Squid Squad (3-5 years) pre-school age stroke development

Tue/Thur: 5:45 pm - 6:30 pm

Sat: 11:00 am

 

Youth:(6-15)Youth Stroke Development YMCA Progression Flying Fish & Shark

Tue/Thur: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Sat: 11:00am
