A New Member Fee is required to begin a membership. The fee is used to make capital improvements to your YMCA. Recent enhancements such as our new women's wellness area, improved women's locker room and the addition of new cardio theatre equipment were all made possible because of the new member fee.
All new Members joining the YMCA or current Members who let their membership lapse for more than 30 days will be required to pay the New Member Fee. Payment of the New Member Fee is required when a Member joins or renews late. Transfer Members may be required to pay the New Member Fee. The New Member Fee is non-refundable after the first 30 days of membership.
A New Member Fee reduction may be applied when employees of a corporate affiliate sign up for membership. Inquire at the Member Service Center. Awareness of of applicable New Member Fee discounts is the responsibility of the member and the YMCA will not refund amounts that have been paid which would have been eligible for discounts.
