Tennis

Tennis is a sport that can be played all of your life. The Central Family YMCA is proud to introduce Youth Tennis to its Youth Sport Offerings. In creating a partnership with the Randy Pate Tennis Academy, we hope to provide the best available youth tennis program in the Winston-Salem area. 

 

Developmental Tennis Level 1 and 2: These two programs are designed to teach the basic mechanics and fundamentals of the game of tennis. Children who sign up for these two levels should have not played tennis before or do not know the motor skills necessary to perform proper tennis motions. Each session will be one week in length throughout the summer.

 

Ages: 5 - 10 Years Old

Costs: $36 for members; $50 for non-members.

Registration Date: Week prior to the tennis session

Program Dates: Week of June 30th, Week of July 7th, Week of July 14th, Week of July 21st, Week of July 28, Week of August 4th, Week of August 11.

Program Times:

Developmental Level 1 - 8:00am - 8:45am, drop-off at the YMCA by 7:50am

Developmental Level 2 - 8:45am - 9:30am, drop-off at the YMCA by 8:30am
